Chander is a serial entrepreneur, presently the Founder and CEO of India’s fastest growing online tutoring services focused on Spoken English programs. He has aggressively used digital marketing to scale his start-up and establish the company as a leader in the digital Spoken English education field. He is also mentoring a health tech platform (Nersify) to disrupt healthcare recruitment industry across the globe. Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey with eAgeTutor.com, Chander held senior management roles at leading Indian and US companies such as NIIT and Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific and spent more than two decades in the corporate world.
In his last assignment at HP, Chander served as CFO for HP's Personal Systems group - Asia Pacific and Japan for 5 years. As CFO, he was responsible for finance operations in all Asia Pacific countries (from India to New Zealand) and was instrumental in helping to turn around the PC business at the time of HP-Compaq merger to record profit levels and growth well above market average. He also helped drive the emerging market growth plans of China/India and South East Asia from inception to reality. In his 18 years career with HP, he spent 5 years in India to set up finance function in the initial HP India days spent couple of years in Hong Kong as a regional financial analyst for HP's medica business, served as a controller for HP's Asia Pacific printing business (in Singapore) before taking up the CFO role for PC business in Asia Pacific. In the finance function he used the combination of functional knowledge with passion for IT to help grow businesses while improving productivity and cost of operations.
Chander holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Delhi University and a CFA Charter from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India.
Mr. Sushil Kumar Mishra is a BA (Honours) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi with a postgraduate degree in Business Management (with specialization in Finance) from XLRI, Jamshedpur and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
He is a Former Dy. Managing Director of State Bank of India having worked in the Bank for over 38 years till 31.01.2015. He has held a variety of key positions such as Deputy Managing Director (Corporate Strategy & New Businesses), Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer, Chief General Manager Bhopal Circle, Chief General Manager Government Business, etc.
He was instrumental in the conceptualising and rolling out the Digital Transformation of SBI which has the largest online transaction Banking Platform in the world. He was conferred the “Best CIO Award” by Institute of Public Enterprises in 2013. He has served and is serving as an Independent Director & Advisor on a number of Corporate Boards. Having been a passionate photographer for over 50 years, he has written and published a pictorial book on Madhya Pradesh called “Zero and Beyond”.
Marc is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Pine Labs Group, a payments & technology platform providing financial solutions for merchants, brands, and financial institutions. Pine Labs is considered one of the top Fintech unicorns in the Asian region.
He has held the positions of Deputy CEO at Incomlend and Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region at Fiserv and First Data for more than a decade prior to joining Pine Labs. Marc has strong Sales, Business Development, Finance, as well as Operational experience in the Asia Pacific region including Greater China, Korea, ASEAN, India and Australia. Marc has a proven success track record of scaling and growing international Fintech businesses for over two decades. He has also spent six years as an active Venture Capital and Private Equity investor with several successful exits to his name.
